Come Plant 10,000 Trees for the Rouge 23rd Annual Wildlife Habitat Restoration
Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22nd, and what better way to spend it than to plant 10,000 trees!
Come out and help plant native trees and shrubs along the Rouge Valley to help support wildlife habitat restoration. The event starts at 9:00 am RAIN or SHINE. Volunteers are asked to meet at the south side of 14th Ave about 500 m west of Reesor Rd.
Make sure to dress for the weather (rubber boots are always a safe bet!). We keep planting until all trees are in the ground. If you can, bring along a shovel and bucket. Everyone is welcome! Come get dirty with Mother Nature and help restore the habitat along the Rouge!
