Toronto's Early Spring Market is Gaining Momentum!
- The first quarter of 2024 concluded with a notable uptick in sales, with an 11% year-over-year growth and an 18% increase in new listings.
- The average home price reached $1,121,615. An increase of 1.3% from March 2023.
- The number of homes sold hit 6,560 in March 2024, falling by 4.5%.
- New listings were up 15.1% reaching 13,120 as many homeowners anticipate an improvement in market conditions this spring.
- Properties are trading hands faster as market conditions heat up. We anticipate accelerated price growth into the spring and even more so during the second half of the year, as sales catch up with listing growth and sellers’ market conditions begin to emerge in many neighbourhoods.
