Welcome to Cachet
The Cachet community is a small, prestigious village located slightly northwest of Unionville and west of Angus Glen.
What was once home to farmers and extensive farm land, is now a beautiful residential community full of single family homes surrounded by natural beauty and golf courses, including York Downs and Markham Golf and Country Club.
Cachet is mostly known for its large, stately homes that run along Cachet Parkway, Personna Blvd., and all the smaller streets surrounding them. More recently, smaller detached homes have been built on the west side of Woodbine Ave., just north of the Markham Golf Club and south of Major Mackenzie in the communities of Devil's Elbow, as well as north of Major-Mack in Cathedraltown and Jennings Gate. These homes are more affordable and offer easy access to shopping and major highways. To view homes for sale in Cachet, click here.
This central Markham community is a great spot to build a life as it is within easy driving distance to both major highways (404 and 407) and offers a great recreational lifestyle year-round. Ashton Meadows Park, just off Woodbine Ave., boasts a water play area for children and sports fields including two baseball diamonds. The Rouge River and Berczy Creek offer lovely scenery for walkers, joggers and bikers as they both flow through Cachet.
Cachet Village is a 400,000 sq. ft. shopping center just off Hwy. 404 at Major Mackenzie Drive that encompasses a number of shops, cafes, banks, spas, hardware stores and restaurants for residents to enjoy without having to travel far.
If you do want to spend a day out though, you won't be far from the historical downtown area of Unionville or the thousands of acres that are Rouge Park, which is the perfect place to have a picnic, take a hike or do just about anything you'd like to do outdoors all day long.
